Education or not, if you want a good idea or visual view of your magnetic field, iron filings is a must; and this case is a must if cleanliness is an issue. Takes a little trial-&-error to get then hang of it since you can't sprinkle-on your filings. Yes, the case will get cloudy with filings, but you have a magnet; use it like a remote squeegee.
