Large Infinity Mirror - Optics Demo

With this special mirror, you can peer into the infinite as LED lights recede into the apparent distance and behold a fascinating optical illusion.  An infinity mirror consists of two mirror panes installed in parallel sequence a few inches from one another.  LED lights dot the perimeter of the space between the two mirrors, which creates an optical feedback loop that makes the mirror appear to extend into an impossibly long space within itself.  In reality, the mirror frame is simply a few inches in length, and can be hung on any wall and retain the illusion.  It serves both as an excellent gift for those who delight in kitsch and visual tricks, and also demonstrates basic principles of relfection and optics.
