Replacing a 2032 is usually no big deal because most are in a socket on the board. When you need one with a cable and special connector is when the trouble starts. This one fits the app perfectly and saves time and money. Perfect product.

Battery With Leads Brings Handie-Talkie Back From The Dead

From time to time older Radio Shack Handie-Talkies HTX-202 and HTX-404 show up on equipment sale sites. They're invariably dead showing "ERR 1" in the display. Replacing the memory battery with one of these brings these (at least mine) handie-talkie roaring back to life. Highly recommended !!

These are lithium metal cells (non-rechargeable), used for remote controls, computer motherboard CMOS, laptops, notebooks, etc. They are also great for powering brush robots, bristle bots, and toothbrush bots projects. Each battery is 3V and 210mAh.
Specifications:
- Wrapped CMOS CR2032 lithium battery with wire leads and connector pre-attached
- Wire leads measure ~3.5 inches
- Lithium metal coin cell
- Used for various household needs (remote controls, CMOS, bios, computer motherboards, brush bots, etc.)
- Excellent for hobby electronics and science fair projects
- Each battery is 3V and 210mAh.
- Choice of either Molex 51021-0200-B (1.25mm pitch) or JST SHR-02V-S-B (1mm pitch) connector (see photos for connector specifications)
