These filings are great for visualizing magnetic fields. They are a very appropriate size and work well. The bottle is much larger than I expected for the weight. It's about half a cup in volume. I reuse the filings many times, so this bottle will last a long time.

Good Product, But Shipping Insane

Very good iron filings...perfect for overhead demos in either lecture halls or small classes....filings not to fine, which is great. Just had to slit my throat to pay for shipping. Pretty sad.
