It is housed in tough clear plastic, allowing the user to view the unit’s mechanisms in real-time. This unit is not only functional but also costs about half the price of similar models. This generator can also be used as a hand generated flashlight due to the mounted lamp on the end and the binding post can be used to connect an outside electrical circuit. A great introduction to the concept of motors and generators; makes an excellent gift or addition to the classroom.
