These are perfect. I would not advise getting the acrylic equivalents if you are interested in projecting a spectrum.

Nice ROYGBI Spectrum for a Small Prism

The larger the prism, the larger and more discernible the light colors spectrum will appear. This is a small pocket prism, but the definition of the ROYGBI separation is surprisingly good.

It was exactly what we ordered. No issues with that. I functions as described as well, just be aware that a few feet between the prism and surface needs to be present to see the clear fraction of light

The optical prism will allow you to demonstrate how white light can be split up into many different colors. The “spectrum” of colors will look like a rainbow. Simply hold the prism near your eye while rotating the optical prism through incandescent light and enjoy the colorful science!
